More pictures

I am still learning this blogging thing and I do not have it down yet! Here are some pictures that were suppose to be on the last post. Also big news!! My good friend, Carol, just called and she is a Granna again. John Gideon was born this morning weighing in at 8lbs. 9ozs. and 21 inches long and all are doing great! Congratulations Kristen and Scott.

It's Monday!

For some unknown reason, I can not find the time to post anything until Monday morning. Go figure that one. We had a busy weekend, attended a beautiful wedding of the daughter of our friends Bobbie and Dan Cooper. It was unreal. Just the sweetest testimony of God's love. We also had some granddaughter time with Kelli and Cadie. I even squeezed in some stamping for my Mother and my daughter, Jennifer. Today is her and Andrew's 2nd wedding anniversary. On to business. Here are some of the pictures of the craft fair I did last weekend. Some of the materials I used are retired, so I am not listing all those items. The cute little pumpkin on the pumpkin Poop is from the Batty for You stamp set, as is the bat, spider, and ghost on the bookmarks. It was fun and I really enjoyed meeting some new friends and hopefully future stamping buddies. Well, I have a whole long list of things to do today, so yall have a great day and be blessed.

Monday, Monday

What can I say, it was a typical Monday! I did get a card made and even gave it to my mother's friend. However, I forgot to take a picture of it! The babies were into everything today. I took Cadie off the kitchen table 8 times. She is a really great climber for 17 months. I cooked a really good dinner and Tombo was late getting home, so we had 15 minutes to eat together before I had to drive Momma over to her friend's house to see a photo album. Okay enough family drama. I signed up for a craft fair today. I am really excited! It will be my first one with Stampin' Up. Of course this only gives me 12 days to get ready. Yikes! I better get busy!! Another thing I'd like to mention, totally changing the subject, today I looked at the Cards for a Cause challenge on Splitcoaststampers. I was thrilled to see that in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Chemo Angels is the organization receiving cards from SCS for October. If you'd like to make cards and donate them the address is Splitcoaststampers Cards for a Cause118 S. South Street #605Farmville, VA 23901. The link to the SCS thread about this challenge is here. They need a kinds of cards, the only thing they ask us not to send is get well wishes and good luck sentiments. It's late or almost early, so I better get in bed fast. Thank you for visiting my site and indulging my sharing our life with you. Be Blessed!

World Card Making Day

Well, today may have been designated as World Card Making Day, but for me, hopefully, it will happen tomorrow. Today I was blessed with two granddaughters for the day, so instead of making cards we made spiders. Kelli, my 6 yr. old granddaughter and I made spiders cased from casegj on Splitcoaststampers. They are so darn cute. We used chocolate candies instead of peppermint patties. Kelli wasn't convinced everyone would like the peppermint ones. The body front and back is a scallop punch, the legs were made using the photo frame punch, the eyes used a regular size hole punch, and we drew in the black spots with a marker. So, technically, we didn't stamp, however, we had a great time! I didn't get to clean much either. Oh well, a house should be clean enough to be healthy and dirty enough to be home, or something like that. I may forgo the Sunday afternoon nap tomorrow after church and get in some stamping and cleaning (in that order of course). Hope you had a blessed day.

Stamp Camp

This past weekend I attended the fall stamping sleepover put on by my recruiter Angie Brailsford. As usual,we had a great time. There was a whole lot of stampin' going on. We arrived on Friday and stayed until Saturday evening after dinner, more than 24 hours with no T.V., no news, no sleep, just a lot of laughter and stamping. I did take a couple of pictures. I am the diva with the new pink stampin glasses. These are my new inspiration readers. Aren't they great? They even have bling on them!
