2 days, Just 2 days til Christmas! I'm not ready. I still have cards to make and cookies to bake, oh and presents to wrap! Did I till yall -I love Christmas! Tonight, Tommy and I made Icebox fruitcake. It's great. This recipe is from my mother-in-law, Tommy makes it every year. It's not your traditional fruitcake. The only fruit in it is raisins. I think it's neat that he makes it every year. I also made a candy I kinda invented. I melt white chocolate chips with vanilla almond bark in the microwave. Then I add crushed pretzels and dried cranberries. Drop by teaspoonfuls on wax paper and let dry. They are a great blend of sweet and salty. Well, it is very late or should I say early and I hope to get to bed soon. I'd like to share with you a sweet and simply card I made recently. I hope you like it. I used pacific blue and whisper white cardstock, pacific blue ink and the flower out of baroque motif for the background. The Baby Jesus out of Deer friends was the focal point.
Creative Therapy sharing projects, products and techniques for paper crafting, some baking, peach tea and hopefully inspirational ideas.

9 days til Christmas!
It's 9 days til Christmas Day. I am acting like I have another month. I have totally failed to follow the Organized Christmas plan this year! I haven't finished my Christmas cards, I haven't wrapped to many gifts, I haven't totally finished shopping. I am not stressing though. I am enjoying each experience. Last night we attended the Christmas music at my mom's church. It was very good. It was really nice to have our oldest son, Josh, there. Jen and Andrew were also there with Cadie. Lee had to work, so did not make it. On Sunday night we were at our church, Frazer, the musical program and drama were great. We felt very blessed and truly ready to celebrate the Christmas season.
Here are some tags I made using the Deer Friends set. I have really enjoyed that set this year. It will be retiring after the 18 of January, so if you like it give me a call or drop me an email and I'll tell you how you can get it. I apologize the "be merry" stamp is already retired. I am organizing hostess clubs for 2009 so let me know if you are interested in signing up. By the way, yesterday was my good friend, Kelley and Alice's birthday. Happy Birthday to both of you. Alice your card is in the mail. Good night. Be a blessing to someone today.

Finally,Time for Show and Tell
Hello everybody, I hope you are all having a great holiday season and trying to keep things in "Proper Perspective". Let Jesus be the reason for the season. I am enjoying this month. We have a few decorations up, not many, Miss Cadence Mari is the reason for that! The outside lights are up and my favorite remote control lighted tree. No ornaments. We are taking a few days to just get use to a tree in the living room. She has only tried to climb it once. Have I mentioned Miss Cadie is a climber. Takes after her Aunt Lee-Lee. Saturday, I was blessed to get together with my dearest friends, sisters in Christ, and cheap therapist to bake. And bake we did. We made chocolate peanut clusters, peanut butter cups, lemon squares, sugar cookies, sand tarts, more peanut butter cups, and divinity. It was a great day. I am blessed by these wonderful ladies. Carol, our chief organizer, was unable to be there. She gave each of us a note to open together- We are the proud "donaters" of a goat! We were all tickled, Carol purchased a goat through World Vision in honor of our little group. Hopefully next year we can add another farm animal. Lee-lee,our 18 year old daughter spent today volunteering at the Operation Shoebox Warehouse in Atlanta, Ga. She arrived home this evening, very tired but blessed to have had this opportunity to serve. She hopes to begin serving our country next year in the U.S. Coast Guard! Okay, thanks for tolerating my family news. I have some projects to share. This is a gift set I made for my friend,Carol. I made the 2A box from DSP with a chocolate chip bottom. The cards were made from the same DSP "Holiday Treasures". I really like this paper. I also used Riding Hood Red
Old Olive, and Baja Blue. Let me know what you think. More later. "As you go by, as you go, share the love of Him who loves you so."

Christmas is coming!
I love Christmas. I love to decorate the house, bake, bake, bake, and stamp, stamp stamp! I love to hunt for the right present for everyone. I enjoy wrapping the gifts and making tags that are special for everyone. The big problem is always TIME. I never have enough time to do all the things I want to do. Don't even think about the things that I need to do, i.e. ironing, cleaning, balancing the checkbook. Oh well, January is coming also and there will be time to do the mundane stuff. We are having a musical Christmas this year. Last night started the season with our oldest Granddaughter's Church Christmas Music program. This week my step dad will sing in the Community Chorus concert. Sunday is our church's Christmas program " A Christmas Tale" and Monday evening we will attend, with my Mother and her husband, the musical at their church. I love the music of Christmas. What a wonderful time of the year to encourage everyone. I have done some really neat stamping projects and well do my best to get them photoed, and on the site by tonight. It just takes some time. The card I am posting today was one I made at a shoebox swap for demos. I don't know who brought this card. Sorry ladies I didn't have it written down ( you know after that last birthday, the memory is gone) . The card is simple and really cute. Let me know if you need some directions or supplies. More Later.
