Is anything every just Black and White?

Welcome to the February Stampin' Friends Blog Hop! I appreciate you hopping over today.Today's theme is Black and White with a punch of color. If you came from Kristen Gill's blog I know you were inspired. Click the previous link to return there. We are fortunate to have 3 very talented Guest hoppers today.
I know you will want to visit each of their blogs also. You can continue on the hop by clicking on the Next button at the bottom of this post.

So, ready to see my projects today? I had a really good time creating these. I used patterns I found on Splitcoast stampers and You Tube for the mechanics.

Cucumber Crush is my accent color. Love this Inside the Lines DSP from the Saleabration Catalog. I also made use of the glassine bags as my envelope for this card. I love doing this when I know I'm going to be hand delivering the card or when a card is a little thick for a regular size envelope. I usually add more to the outside, but the card showed through nicely and already had a lot going on. Here is the card. It has a belly band to help keep it closed and opens from the bottom. I have falling in love with these Cards. Ready? TA DA!!

Yep, it's a Pop and Twist. And they are amazing. This is a birthday card for my adventurous daughter. I think she will love it.
I used the Lift me up Bundle which is so much fun to play with and the Always an Adventure bundle from the annual catalog. And, finally the balloon punch and stamps from the Birthday Adventures Bundle. Cucumber Crush is one of the In Colors that will be retiring in May.
For my 3-D project I made a Shadow box frame. These are also easy to make and a whole lot of fun. Again, I utilized the Inside the Lines DSP and this time the Dragonfly Bundle. It's starting to sound like all of them are my favorites!
Here's a close up of the message in the corner. I hope y'all enjoyed these projects as much as I enjoyed making them. Have a geat day and be blessed!
Please take the time to continue on the hop and visit Maria Willis blog. Just click on the next button. Thanks. And by the way all of us would love some feed back from you-so, please leave us a comment,

Guest Hoppers for February are:

I was so excited to be invited to this months blog hop. I LOVE black and white! It's about all you'll find in my closet with a little red thrown in there! It's hard being an Auburn Tiger when your wardrobe yells "Roll Tide!"

This is a big birthday month for our family. So, I am doing cards and lots of birthday stuff like cupcake picks, goodie bags and gift tags.  This weekend is Cooperman's party! You can see his card in my last post and then a good friend of ours Jimmy Gibson will be 75 on Saturday! Jimmy is amazing,he and his wife Debbie are both blind. so several of today's projects are for Jimmy's birthday lunch this weekend. For his card I used the the Stamp set Boys will be Boys and added the balloon framelits and the 75 from the Large Numbers framelit dies.
I mentioned we had a lot of birthday's this month. Our oldest grandson will be 9 later this month so I made his card using the same set.  I used the more current toy choices for Stephens birthday card. His biological father was killed in the Middle east before Stephen was born. I know he'll love the little solider and what 9 yr.old boy doesn't love LEGO"S.

For my other projects, I made cupcake picks using the Stamp set Party Wishes and the coordinating balloon and cupcake punch.
These are easy to make and I love how they dress up a plain cupcake. The goodie bag is made with the  Treat bag framelit and the No bones about it stamp set.I even stamped the tissue paper with the dino skeleton. I was planning on using these for both birthdays. All boys love dinosaurs and Jimmy is as old as one! My final project is a bottle tag. I love to add these to a bottle of something sparkling for a birthday celebration. I hope you enjoyed these ideas for adding creative stamped projects to your birthday party or just for a thoughtful gift. We love birthdays! They are special at our house. It's your day to shine -  I believe you can make someone feel really special with a hand-stamped card or treat. Thank you for stopping by today. Please continue on our hop. Don't forget to comment with the #SFFebHop on each person's blog you visit for chances to win the Mystery Giveaway!
